Breakfast & Teatime Club

In term time before and after school we offer your child a safe and welcoming place to ‘chill’. Before the rigours of the school day, we serve breakfast if required up to 8.30am; then take your child to school either on foot or in one of our vehicles.

After school, the children have some free play time; we have an air hockey table, a games console, a TV and a computer. In addition, there are plenty of board games to play, construction sets to build and art & craft materials to explore.  Click here for further information…

Holiday Club

Gobstoppers Holiday Club meets the challenges of long holidays in a different way to the after school service. We believe that children in the long holidays want more than just a safe place to chill out. They need to have a structured approach to a day, or even a week, with a theme running throughout.

Our dedicated staff carefully plan events and themed weeks to keep the children stimulated & happy.

We offer an exciting structured programme of play, sports and arts & crafts for children aged 5 to 13 to get active, make lots of new friends and have a great time during the school holidays. All activities/events are carefully balanced to keep the children thoroughly entertained throughout the day.

The focus at Gobstoppers is having as much FUN as possible. With a huge programme of over 200 activities on offer, including everything from Mini Football and Relay Races, to T-Shirt Design, Painting and Drama Sessions, there are a huge variety of activities to suit both the sporty and more creative child. There are far too many choices and options available to list but we have provided a ‘sample programme’ to give you an idea of the choices.  Click  on your childs age group to view the sample programme.

Gobstoppers Abertillery – based at the Learning Action Centre (LAC)

Adjacent to Abertillery Comprehensive School, this venue has the advantages of the facilities on offer at the leisure centre including playing fields and ‘astro turf’!  Easily accessible to everyone with ample parking for convenient drop off and collections.

Gobstoppers Tredegar – based at Bedwellty House & Park

Bedwellty House and park are located in the Sirhowy Valley in the town of Tredegar.  The house is a grade II listed building and dates to the earliest years of the 19th century.  The park is a designated conservation area and a registered historic park. The park has recently undergone a £1 million refurbishment and includes landscape areas and historically significant structures.
