An additional service of collecting/dropping your child to/from the local primary schools within the area.  The schools we offer the service to/from are;

Ystruth Primary/Coed-y-Garn Primary/Ysgol Gymraeg Bro Helyg/St Mary’s RC Primary/St Mary’s CIW Primary/Roseheyworth Millennium Primary.

Children need to arrive at Candy Stripes by 8.30am at the latest. They will be taken to school for the requested start time.

At home time staff will be waiting in the playground to bring your child back to the tea time club ready for snack time.

A ‘wraparound’ agreement will need to be completed prior to this service beginning.  This is a formal agreement between the parent and Candy Stripes, which will provide specific details of your requirements.  This will also provide consent for the child to be collected/dropped off by Candy Stripes staff.

It is the parents responsibility to notify the school that the child will be using the wraparound service.  Candy Stripes will provide the school with a ‘wraparound pack’ this will contain a copy of the wraparound agreement, a wraparound policy, staff identification photos and insurance/mot documents.

We liaise closely with the schools to make pick up and drop off a smooth transition.

Wraparound Service charge for nursery children - £3.00 each way (Schools in Blaina) £4.00 each way (Schools in Brynmawr/Abertillery)

Break fast/Tea time club prices are inclusive of wraparound.
